We arrived late in Nuku’alofa in Tonga and Götti (Aka Toni - me and my brother's Godfather) picked us up at the airport and brought us by Taxi to Little Swan in Nuku’alofa Harbor. We slept at 1am and had to wake up at 7am. We went shopping and site seeing. Then my father and brother and me were taught how to drive the dingy. I sped across the water and all of a sudden turned a full circle. Everyone was surprised and wet, so funny. On Sunday we visited the Tonga Church on Atata Island and the priest said a lot of faka.. words. The singing was beautiful, but very loud. On Monday we finally set sail for the Ha’apai group of Islands, my first real sailing day! Cyrus and I stood on the bowsprit enjoying the ups and downs. Like Bungee jumping.

Tuesday, we continued for Ha’apai north. I also climbed the rat-line for the first time! Wednesday we sailed onto Vava’u that day and night. We went to the yacht club and saw hundreds of tiny fish around the jetty. During the night small creatures glowed behind the boat! Sunday we went back to Ha’apai. That evening my brother and me caught 1 fish each: a scorpion fish and another we didn't know. Monday we caught another large Dorado on the lure! (Another 2 delicious meals including Sashimi) That afternoon we found large hermit crabs. My brother climbed up a coconut tree to get some coconuts with water in them for Justine’s Rum.
