Toni Celebrating |
Landfall in Australia was in Coffs Harbour. A heavy sea was running from the east and the swell into the outer Harbour was huge. The waves were braking either side of Little Swan and we virtually surfed into the Harbour. Welcome to Australia.!
The final leg down to Sydney was easy. We did it in daily hops and visited Port Stephens on the way down.

Little Swan entered Port Jackson after 11 years cruising and circumnavigating the world.
Alan’s ambition was to sail into Sydney harbour at the helm and his wish was fulfilled. Justine took the helm and sailed past the Opera house and underneath the bridge |

Just in Sydney |
A fast ferry came very close and we wondered what was going on. The we spotted a familiar face of Henk, the Dutchman who was crewing in my first team 11 years ago sailing to Tasmania and New Zealand. He was deckhand on this ferry and it was a nice surprise.
We circled around in Darling Harbour and then returned to Farm Cove to anchor there for a while enjoying the Billion Dollar view of the Opera house, the Harbour Bridge and in the back the City of Sydney and Botanical Gardens.
It is great to be back!!

We hoisted part of my collection of courtesy flags from the 75 countries I have visited around the world and to give us an aura of celebration. |
In the evening to our festive moods a spectacular firework added to the welcome.
The next day friends started to visit us and join in the festivities.

The yacht Aphelion with Peter and Elizabeth joined the party and champagne was on tap. The Macdonald’s turned up and Richard gave me a nice surprise from Queensland. Steve with his new sailing boat joint the party and we danced into the night. My Godson’s with Lan and Vi came for a Spaghetti dinner. |
| What were my feelings? It is fantastic to be back again and stop for a while. It all felt a bit unreal and more like a time laps as if I heave never been away.
Thanks guys, it is much appreciated.

| On Monday we sailed south to Port Hacking to my mooring in Mansion Bay, Grays Point.
Coming around the last corner we let some obsolete smoke flares off just to mark the occasion.
Little Swan has safely returned after 11 years.

| My sincere thanks to all the people who have helped as crew and supporters in all those years to fulfill my dream to sail around the world. |
Thank you!! |
