Haiti

Our sail plan was to check into Cap Haitien if wind and weather condition are not favorable for us, but we had fantastic luck to have north-easterly winds and sailed comfortably through the Canal de la Tortue with the Ils de la Totue in the north and mainland Haiti to the south.
We admired the local sailing ferry transporting 20 to 30 people by sailing from the Island to the mainland. In the evening the mountain coastline of Haiti disappeared over the southern horizon as we headed east for Luperon in the Dominican Republic.
